We finished the day having experienced some of Disney World’s biggest attractions across three different parks.
Our strategy also allowed time for mini breaks and “gap” rides. We hopped on Pirates due to its low wait on our way out of Adventureland, strolled around world showcase before our Guardians lightning lane time, and took some character photos before leaving Hollywood studios. It’s amazing what you can fit in in a day when you have the right plan!
Our Secret Money-Saving Strategy to get an extra day and rest.
Instead of flying home early the next morning, we booked a late afternoon flight.
That gave us almost an entire bonus day at Disney without paying for another park ticket.
We spent the morning relaxing at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort pool, enjoying the resort, and soaking up a little extra Disney magic before heading to the airport.
Another great option is spending that morning at Disney Springs. You can browse the shops, grab lunch, enjoy the atmosphere, and still make it to an afternoon flight comfortably.
That extra half-day made the trip feel much longer without adding a significant cost.
Would We Do It Again?
Absolutely.
This trip proved that Disney World doesn’t have to cost a fortune to be memorable.
With the right resort, strategic flight times, and a solid park plan, you can experience Disney’s biggest attractions, stay on property, enjoy great food, and keep your budget under control.
